The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has stopped approving government scholarships for students attending British universities over fears of Islamic radicalization. UAE officials are reportedly concerned about the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist movements on UK campuses. The UAE considers the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, while Britain does not ban it. Emirati students can still study in Britain at their own expense.
