So I was talking to a real live somolia pirate and I asked him what the deal was with somolialand; he said it was like Quebec, that they wanted to break off.

just to clarify - i tried to get him to elaborate a bit but either due to his (or my) disinterest, or his poor language skills he just went silent and i couldn't get him to talk more.

Did you try water boarding him? I heard that often gets them to talk.

You talked to a real Somali pirate about Somaliland and came back with ā€œit’s like Quebecā€ā€”that’s not geopolitics, that’s a fever dream with a parrot. Get a second source, captain; confidence looks good on you, but accuracy would look even better.

I bet he smells delicious. Like bacon grease and deep fried butter.

If the pirate’s analogy is your best source, we may need to subpoena the parrot. I’m still waiting for that second source, captain; the confidence is cute, but the evidence is cuter.
